The things most customers want to know first.
Do I need to already own a truck?
No. You can contact MKP while you're still looking for a vehicle. If you're considering a custom build, we'll need to evaluate the vehicle and project specifications before finalizing the build.
The $49,900 Year-End Special includes the truck.
What exactly is included in the $49,900 Year-End Special?
The promotional price includes the truck plus the defined MKP Basic Commercial Kitchen Package.
The package includes the cooking, refrigeration, sanitation, ventilation, fire-protection, gas, electrical, service and comfort components specified in the applicable written proposal.
Promotion ends December 31, 2026.
Upgrades and changes outside the Basic Package may affect the final price.
Is the truck really included for $49,900?
Yes. The truck is included.
The vehicle and defined Basic Commercial Kitchen Package are included in the promotional price.
The specific vehicle year, make, model, mileage and condition depend on available inventory and will be identified in the customer's written proposal/agreement.
Can you build the kitchen around my menu?
Yes.
We use the customer's menu and operational needs to help determine the equipment configuration, preparation areas, refrigeration and other project requirements.
Your menu isn't generic. Your kitchen shouldn't be either.
What if I need different equipment?
That's what our Custom Builds are for.
If you need additional fryers, a larger griddle, charbroiler, additional burners, larger refrigeration, specialty cooking equipment, a different hood or another configuration, we can evaluate a custom project.
Do you build food trailers too?
Yes. MKP works with food trucks, food trailers and qualifying specialty mobile commercial projects.
Do you only build food businesses?
No.
Our Mobile Boutique project is one example of a specialty commercial vehicle conversion.
Does MKP offer financing?
Financing options may be available to qualified customers.
Financing approval, rates, amounts, terms and funding decisions are determined by the applicable financing provider.
Are permits included with my food truck?
No.
Permit & Plan Review Support is an optional paid service separate from fabrication.
Government filing fees, permits, licenses, inspections and other applicable third-party charges are also separate unless expressly included in writing.
What can Permit & Plan Review Support include?
Depending on the project, jurisdiction and purchased service, MKP can assist with preparation and organization of items such as:
- Scaled layout/floor plan
- Equipment documentation
- Application preparation
- Supporting project documentation
Where electronic submission is permitted and included in the service, MKP can also provide submission support.
What happens if my jurisdiction requires me to submit everything in person?
We prepare and organize the agreed package. You deliver it.
That way, you don't have to start from scratch trying to determine how the documents should be assembled.
Does MKP guarantee my permit or inspection approval?
No government approval should be represented as guaranteed.
Regulatory requirements, reviews, inspections, appointments and final decisions are controlled by the applicable authority.
MKP's optional service is designed to help prepare and organize the applicable documentation—not control the government's decision.
What warranty comes with my build?
MKP workmanship: 1-year workmanship warranty according to the applicable written warranty terms.
Equipment: Applicable equipment warranties are subject to the respective manufacturer's terms.
Can I see food trucks MKP has actually built?
Absolutely.
